Bible-posts about healing
Indeed, he bore our illness and invited our pain. But we considered him to be the one who was tormented and beaten and tortured by God. But he is wounded for our iniquity and crushed for our sins. The punishment is upon him for us to have peace, and through his wounds we are healed.
He bore our sins with his body upon the wood of the cross, that we might be dead for sins and for righteousness. His wounds healed you.
He took our weakness, and he bore our illness.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he anointed me; He sent me to announce to the poor glad tidings, to heal those who are broken in heart, to preach liberation to prisoners, and to see the blind again, to set apart smashed, to proclaim a pleasant year of the Lord.
1 John 3: 8
